Statement
My art is often material-based. What is important to me is the memory, the significance and the feeling of different reused materials. Symbolic or concrete messages, which the materials bring in new contexts in a new way.
Traditional craft methods are also often present in my art in an applied and renewed form. As a costume artist, I find the figurativeness as well as the physical presence of a human body in one way or another in my art works very important. Also the use of textiles and soft materials is especially characteristic for my work. The reuse of materials in the sense of recycling is also close to my heart and it has always been.
The starting points of my artistic work can be found in memories, feelings, encounters and social issues.
